spontaneously one day in my studio as i was cleaning, i found myself suddenly gathering and grouping objects which i then assembled and created into structures. this grew into a personal ritual, an invocation in prayer, attaching spirit like qualities and bringing into being what i would later understand to be protectors and places of refuge.
